2024 Giving Campaign

Our mission is to cultivate a safe place where consent, curiosity, connection, and creation are the pillars of our leadership experience.

Horse and Heart stands at the forefront as an innovative nonprofit, dedicated to healing and learning through equine relationship experiences, with a strong focus on leadership, Intuitive Horsemanship and embracing diversity through exploring otherness and herd immersion. Under the leadership of Lori and Ella Halliday, this organization prioritizes consent, access and uplifting underrepresented groups.

Vital for Sustaining Care

Donations to H&H Ranch are vital for sustaining the care and welfare of their 11-rescue equine herd and supporting therapeutic and educational programs for at-risk youth and underrepresented populations.

Financial contributions are allocated to cover essential expenses such as veterinary care, feed, facility maintenance, and educational programs, while also helping manage the increased operational costs and loan repayments. These funds ensure the continuation of H&H's mission to provide healing for horses and humans through equine-facilitated experiences.

Donations assist with:

  • Veterinary care and farrier services: Ensuring the health and well-being of the horses.

  • Feed and supplements: Covering the rising costs of hay and grain due to drought and fuel costs.

  • Facility maintenance: Upkeep of fences, stalls, waterers, and waste removal systems.

  • Educational seminars: Hosting sessions with renowned equine experts for community learning with scholarship access.

  • Operational costs: Managing increased expenses and loan repayments to sustain the ranch's activities.

Why Give to Horse & Heart?

Research shows that working with a horse partner can have a truly life-transforming impact.

For the foster youth and families in transition in our programs, the lack of continuity in relationships has created a deficit in emotional security and social skills. Effective intervention is critical in order for these young people to develop the skills to relate with others and to become active, healthy members of our community. Your donation offers a new path for a local child or family in the great outdoors! At Horse & Heart children develop, grow, and learn from horses as partners and friends.
